Sunday night and alls well....

this is a strange story which doesnt really have too much of a conclusion as of right now but gonna post it anyhow - bc i just know how much you all are standing on the edge ;) waiting to see what i am gonna post. so here goes...

Jb and I went out to Jeffs tonight (burger spot in LA). On our way back we turn on to Crescent Heights (shortcut back form Pico). We just about to get into our part of town when we see a pick-up burning on the side of the road. Yes... BURNING! I mean up in flames like a bonfire!

I have seen one previous car fire live and it was nothing compared to this spectacal. As we pass the truck on our right hand side (passenger side here in the states) the heat was so intense we could feel it inside of our car. I drove to the end of the block and pulled over telling JB to call 911 (emergency number) from my phone.

He calls twice and gets a busy signal. Meanwhile we had already gotten out of the car - i was silently cursing my stupidity for not bringing my camera (i have an excuse its broken and stuck in video mode - yeah not really an excuse but im gonna use it so there!! hmmpph :-P) . I took back my phone and Jb hung up with his fahter and we both tried calling 911.

Jb gets to a voice machine which tells him that all the operators are busy. Me. I get the busy tone again - yeah they just knew i was calling;)?!?!

Well in order to make a short story shorter, fire truck pulls up and puts out the fire. We leave.

I have some pics on my phone as well as 4 bad quality vidoes so will try to put them up on the site if i can ::shrug::.

Well until my next posting thnx for all the comments everybody!! and i moderate them in order to be able to read the comments, otherwise i gotta figure out which ones are new ::shrug::.
