Shabbos in Irvine

Well shabbos started off almost like any other... but we had a friday night dinner for the talmud torah kids. about 90 people came!!!

was lots of fun and had some really interesting conversations ;). well anyhow to the point i decided to do a bit of fridge exploration - you know in order to make sure everything was kosher ;). i end up finding this massive cake with blue and white trimming. so obviously my radar went off and i checked the names on the cake and it said "mazal tov micheal and miriam". i sit there thinking to myself "twins???".

shabbos morning i wake up and my mom tells me that micheal snoyman is getting engaged. Needless to say i automatically put it together and im like "oh so that is why there is such a big cake" - aha! ;)

he was called up to the torah and i can guarantee that some of the people had no idea why we all started going nuts and dancing. but thankfully this is irvine and we dont need an excuse to dance or have a good time and soon the whole shul was dancing...

well thats about it so MAZAL TOV to Micheal Snoyman and Miriam (i think) Lyon!!!
