FLOOD!!!

and so G-d spoke onto oscar and said " if you shall open the bathroom door prepare yourself for it shall be wet". but alas oscar did not heed the voice of the L-rd and opened the door to find himself thrown back against the wall by millions (ok slight exaggeration there) gallons of water. the water then seeped through the house of the L-rd. the walls absorbed its liquid and now the angels of repair have come to clean and repair (see their name ;)) G-ds house.

the cry of the destitute could be heard miles away and all had a flash back to just two weeks ago to when Rabbi Ari Raskin had uttered his dire prophecy. "a mikvah must be built in irvine or down with the house" (not a direct quote) so sayeth the prophet and alas we did not heed his voice but thought ourselves to be knowing better Hashem's wishes. we have now seen G-d's wish and i would like to now announce that this shabbos the Rabbi (my father) proclaimed in front of all the congregation of chabad that we are starting on a new campaign to build a mikvah in irvine.

luckily much of the shmurah matzah which had been moved downstairs survived. :D

- little history: beth jacod (the modern orthodox shul in irvine) has for the past seven year been saying that they would build a mikvah. but as my aunt rivkie summed it up this morning (oh yeah her and my uncle are in town now for Pesach) "they've been saying it for seven year now... get a life"

me - in G-ds ever benovelent mercy spared from the flood.

Now hast thine eyes been opened??? Thou shalt scoff no longer at the words of The Prophet Ari, he who does cartwheels at fancy dinners!

The revelation of the cleansing waters has shed all doubt from the minds and hearts of the disbelievers...not to mention it probably ruined the carpet!

Since thou hast shown acceptance to the will of The Lord, his Holiness, The Raskinian Prophet Ari, shall bless the endeavors of this faithful community.

"May the pure waters of the Mikvah arise and replace the damning waters of the flood. May it wash away impurity and be called a blessing for all Israel. Now let us all say - Amen."

Focus not on my identity, for I am merely the mouthpiece of the one true Prophet, and his master, the Lord of all things.

I remain humbly yours - JB
