Paint the ball

details: well this past sunday chabad of irvine decided to take the younger boys out for some good old recreation. so of course we went with one of our favorites PAINTBALLING!

needless to say we all had a great time paintballing in Camp Pendelton (USMC BABY!!!) and im pretty sure that we scared off some marines when we came through with all our tough clothing - especially me wearing my blue jersey (details to follow).

(you see i had figured on it being a hot day and i cant stand the camo jackets (they are really annoying) and being that i have no long sleeve shirts (a fact i am going to rectify) i put on my most breathable shirt. unfort for me it happens to be blue and very easily distinguished from the natural painball terrain.)

Meet Brett: in the beginning of the yr we had this guy over at my house who happens to play sponsored paintball (i think may even be considered pro...) and all year have been trying to get him to come.

back to the present: well this time he came - much to my dismay...
brought along his modified ANGEL (really cool paintball gun) and proceeded to waste (shoot) JB and myslef game after game... and once we were out of the picture the rest of our team were sitting ducks (actually 10 yr old kids but still... :D)

but not to woz we werent going down that easy. JB gave him his own toward the end of the day (i was sitting out helping my bro who wasnt feeling well - make sure you drink WATER whenever you go paintballing...).
and i almost nailed him myself and would have (ok its just an excuse) if i would have had i known that JB had just been taken out (i was inching forward - but if i had known JB was down i would have taken the corner full speed... oh well)

at the end of the day we had the big showdown between JB and i. one on one.
game one: started off with the two of us charging around a bunch of houses and proceeding to shoot each other - him shooting my side, me shooting his legs....
game two: we moved away from the houses and decided playing ring-around-the-rosy would be lots of fun... finally managed to get nice head shot on jb finishing up this game
game three: now we move onto the hill and charged at each other from opposite ends, both of us going for the high ground. jb took it and managed to land a shot on my head this time...

well this leaves us still undetermined as we are now both 1 1/2 to 1 1/2. or you can say we are evenly balanced (personally i would rather him on my team vs being against me - we work well).

oh and as we were dropping off the kids my Mother goes over to reprimand Brett for shooting up her son and his answer: i wasnt going to but then when all i saw was BLUE!!! - me and my bright ideas...

Good new is that he is hooking me up with a paintballing jersey and also gonna help me get onto the team PG.
